The Service User Recovery Forum (SURF) consists of individuals with personal experience of addiction, recovery and use of Shropshire drug and alcohol services.
We aim to (mutually) support individuals in their recovery journey.
We independently monitor, interact with and support service providers in the interests of service users in general, and the wider community.
We recognise the value of diversity within our own group and we engage with other user-led networks, forums, and organisations, providing access to a wealth of experience.

To improve the access, availability and quality of Drug and Alcohol Services for those seeking help and support for substance misuse in the Shropshire area.
· Increased involvement and input in the continued development of Drug and Alcohol Services in the Shropshire area.
· To improve treatment and support options for those affected by drugs and alcohol in the Shropshire area.
· To provide support and encouragement to anyone affected by substance misuse issues in the Shropshire area.
